Insight Global RPO - Sr. Software Engineer (.NET, Azure) in Chicago, Illinois

Job Description

This role is hybrid onsite 2 days per week in Chicago, IL.

  You will be building software solutions using languages and technologies of the .NET framework. You will create applications from scratch, configure existing systems and provide user support.

  Write functional code with a sharp eye for spotting defects.

  Collaborate with internal teams to design, develop and maintain software and produce software design/architecture.

  Participate in requirements analysis.

  Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture.

  Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages.

Skills and Requirements

Must Have:

  7+ years as a Software Engineer with expertise in .NET (ASP.NET framework, SQL Server, MVC, C#, Visual Basic .NET, and HTML5/CSS).

  Experience with MS Azure, Team Foundation Server(TFS), Azure DevOps (ADO) and GIT.

  Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC).

  Understand patterns of designing applications for cloud.

  Ability to test and deploy applications/systems, and revise, update, refactor and debug code.

  Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in a Scrum team.

  AZ-900 certification highly preferred. Fluent in Object Oriented Design, JSON and RESTFul web services.

  Experience writing Unit Test and UI Automation Tests.

  Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills Attention to detail

  Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC)

  Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support. null
