Job Description

· Own the contract review preparation for the NonBrokerage Controllership Service Lines

· Join with the Controllership team in partnering with FP& A and other stakeholders to drive effective coordination and communication throughout the monthly close process

· Perform regular and recurring accounting functions requiring professional competency

· Establish appropriate procedures for preparation of accounting records, research of transactions, and reporting

· Prepare, review, and analyze journal entries to the general ledger for the company ensuring data integrity and accuracy

· Listen, analyze and work with other functions to propose entries that need to be made in areas where judgement is required.

· Research and respond to internal and external accounting/financial questions and resolve issues

· Assist in ensuring key internal controls and effective accounting policies are in place.

· Effectively utilize the Company’s financial reporting tools (Workday, Salesforce, AS400, Peoplesoft, and HFM) to improve the efficiency of the monthly close processes

· Be an enthusiastic ambassador of the company culture to support the continued integration of the legacy firms

Requirements

Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

· 2+ years in accounting roles, preferably with financial close experience

· Strong knowledge of ERP’s and database software packages Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel

· Strong problem-solving ability

· Effective and efficient time management and organization skills

· Detail oriented and thorough

· Proven record of providing excellent internal and external customer service

· Excellent oral and written communication skills

· Self-directed individual who is comfortable working in a team environment

· Ability to communicate effectively and be comfortable explaining accounting concepts to people with non-financial backgrounds

· Ability to quickly adapt and learn in a fast-paced environment

· Excellent interpersonal skills with high initiative, flexibility and team approach to work
