As a Senior Software Engineer at an innovative and stable company, you will develop and enhance computational models to analyze and predict satellite link performance and usage across various mobility traffic types. You’ll leverage your expertise in spatial and temporal data projections over diverse geographic boundaries.

You will interface with AWS Data Lake databases and tables, design software tools and subsystems to support development, testing, and reuse, and manage their implementation. Additionally, you’ll optimize software to reduce operating time and improve efficiency, while developing system architecture and design, including software and interface requirements. This opportunity is contract with a duration of 1 year and fully remote. Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ YOE in Software Development or a combination of IFE (Inflight Entertainment) Systems/Engineering experience

• BS in CS, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or equivalent experience

• Proficient in MATLAB and either C/C++ or Python application software development

• Proficient with Spatial Database, Time Series Database or other database types

• Understanding of satellite communications and link budgets, as well as aircraft and ground infrastructure operations

• Skilled in PostgreSQL client applications and utilities

Desired Skills & Experience

• Familiarity with geographic mapping tools (Google Earth, MapServer, ArcGIS)

• Experience with analytics engines for data visualization in 2D and 3D (Google Charts, Elastic, plotly)

• Experience writing SQL and MySQL queries
