*This is a hybrid position. You will be required to commute to our downtown Chicago; Waltham, MA or Tampa, FL offices on a weekly basis*

As a Senior Inside Sales Representative for Clinical Effectiveness (CE); you will use your expertise in healthcare information technology, medical informatics, relationship building and networking in the healthcare market to expand the use of Clinical Effectiveness solutions for healthcare institutions within your assigned territory. You will work in collaboration with a Field Account Manager and will manage the retention and growth of existing customers along with acquisition of new customers. You will report to the Associate Director, Inside Sales – Health Clinical Effectiveness (CE). Additional job responsibilities are as follows:

You Will:

Opportunity Identification & Development

  • Coordinate with Field Account Manager

  • Identify target opportunity and stakeholders

  • Facilitate outreach and background information collection with new opportunity

  • Identify and build relationships with key stakeholders

  • Conduct customer needs assessment

  • Qualify target opportunity based on account value, threats, and barriers

  • Determine opportunity accountability and responsibilities by role for active selling phase

Active Selling

  • Discover customer needs

  • Communicate product value prop and solution design

  • Customize value prop/solution and product solution proposal

  • Develop and review implementation scope

  • Obtain solution acceptance

  • Coordinate with Field Account Manager team to implement collaborative active selling functions including: contract creation, terms and conditions development, quoting, and contract modifications

  • Conduct contract reviews, pricing, negotiation

  • Obtain final signature and finalize order

Customer Management

  • Review account utilization management reporting

  • Conduct account review meetings

  • Provide ad-hoc customer support and issue routing

  • Collaborate with Marketing in account communications planning and marketing campaigns

  • Identify and close cross-sell and up-sell opportunities

  • Complete contract renewals

You Have:

Education : College/University degree or equivalent relevant work experience

Minimum Experience:

  • 3+ years in a comparable B2B inside/virtual sales or account management position including the following:

  • Building relationships and presenting to key decision-makers

  • Demonstrating and communicating value of complex products/technologies

  • Constructing, presenting and implementing a Territory Business Plan

  • Partnering with and supporting field-based teams to achieve mutual goals

  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding individual and team-based targets

  • Proficiency with Microsoft product suite and Salesforce.com or other comparable CRM application

Desired Attributes

  • Healthcare industry sales or account management expertise

  • Prior sales of an intangible product; HIT, Software/SaaS or digital content

  • Ability to balance multiple internal and external business priorities

  • Excellent administrative/organizational skills and process-orientation

TRAVEL: < 10% for occasional team meetings
