Aspen Dental Senior Manager, Commercial Finance in Chicago, Illinois

Our continued growth has created an opportunity to join our Aspen Dental FP&A Team as Senior Manager, Commercial Finance.

We are excited to present this position as part of one of the largest and most rapidly growing retail healthcare providers in the country. This position will partner directly with senior leadership to uncover areas of opportunity and make recommendations that drive tangible business results.

Responsibilities:

• Accountability for driving financial results, delivering performance against budget, and providing thought-leadership in support of our growing business

• Disciplined management of key operational levers and oversight of company initiatives and pilots. Ability to proactively identify areas of opportunity and influence leadership accordingly

• Reporting monthly financial and operational results, with a focus on clear and concise insights and the ability to relate operational actions to financial outcomes

• Directly partnering with senior leadership by analyzing, forecasting, and presenting key financial and operational data

• Building business cases that justify investments, and then measuring performance against target to identify opportunities for improvement

• General support of the FP&A leadership team as needed. Projects may include ad hoc modelling, forecasting, and ROI/NPV calculations for major initiatives

• Leading a team of 2-3 individuals, inclusive of mentoring, coaching, and providing constructive feedback

Minimum Education and Experience:

• BS in Accounting, Finance, or Economics. 7+ years of experience in the FP&A or Strategy function at a mid-to-large sized organization OR experience in a consulting environment

• Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required. Must be strong at financial modeling and presentation building

• Comfortable relating operational KPIs to business objectives and financial results

• Experience leading a team and providing feedback

• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple stakeholders, and address changing priorities

• Desire to learn with a continuous improvement mindset

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required. Must be a team player

Preferred Qualifications:

• Retail or healthcare experience

• Master’s in business administration or other advanced degree

• Experience with Workday or Tableau software

Salary Range: $150,000 $160,000 DOE with an opportunity to earn up to 15% bonus
