We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr Credit Analyst in CHICAGO, Illinois. This role involves managing a portfolio of customer accounts in Accounts Receivable, negotiating settlements, and establishing credit limits for new accounts, among other responsibilities. The position will also involve working closely with branches and sales teams to expedite dispute resolution.

Responsibilities:

• Manage customer accounts in Accounts Receivable to assign credit parameters and collect due amounts

• Negotiate workout or settlement agreements as needed

• Contact customers via various channels to discuss payment of balances owed to the company

• Work closely with branches and sales teams to expedite dispute resolution

• Review aging data to determine accounts needing follow-up collection activity

• Evaluate questionable accounts for changes in their credit worthiness

• Send past due notices to customers through different communication channels

• Establish credit limits for new accounts based on historical credit information

• Process Sales Tax Exemption Certificates

• Utilize various accounting software systems such as 3M and ADP, as well as CRM and ERP systems to efficiently carry out tasks.

Requirements

• Proficiency in 3M software

• Familiarity with Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services

• Skilled in using CRM platforms

• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems

• Understanding of Accounts Receivable (AR) processes

• Proven ability in Cash Flow Analysis

• Knowledge of Collection Processes

• Extensive experience in Credit Analysis

• Ability to handle Credit Applications effectively
