Shift: Shift 1

Work Schedule: 8 Hr (10:00:00 AM - 4:00:00 PM)

General Summary:

Under supervision, conducts a variety of established functions that support research at the Rush Alzheimer’s Disease Center, particularly focused on our research on aging and decision making

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Provides assistance with conference and other research presentations, including presentation support (preparation of slides/other presention materials, content development, graphics, and other presentation needs as appropriate).

2. Assists with manuscript preparation, including manuscript support (editing, typing, ensuring compliance with journal requirements and submission to journals, and other needs as appropriate).

3. Assists with finding references and generating reference lists/materials.

4. Entry of data on to computerized forms or summarization of data may also be required (edit forms, check data for completeness and accuracy, possibly review and code qualitative data).

5. Other projects, as requested.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

1. This position is appropriate for a high school student. Must have some high school.

2. Must have interest in research activities, good writing/editing and communication skills, good organizational skills, ability to prioritize, good judgment and decision making, and ability to work with diverse investigators.

3. Computer proficiency
