THE ROLE

  • Recruit candidates through various channels, including cold calls, Indeed, LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and other legal and ethical sources.

  • Source and input candidate information into our applicant tracking system.

  • Support the Director and Manager of your team in building meaningful relationships with new preK-12 school partners.

  • Under the supervision of the Director of Special Education Outreach, contact potential candidates for open positions in speech-language pathology, social work, and occupational therapy.

  • Introduce new applicants to our school partners and manage the interview process from phone screen to offer stages to ensure properly matched placements.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system, including spreadsheets with candidate names, leads, and qualified candidates.

  • Secure new hire documentation and employment credentials with state agencies, maintaining strict confidentiality.

  • Assist with ad-hoc projects and general tasks as needed.

    QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in the staffing or recruiting industry or similar internal talent acquisition experience.

  • Highly entrepreneurial and resourceful, with the ability to leverage efforts creatively.

  • High standards of honesty and integrity, with adherence to professional and ethical standards.

  • Passion for working in school therapy and/or special education, with a willingness to learn, work hard, and take ownership of tasks.

  • Ability to work longer hours during peak times, with flexible hours provided throughout the year upon demonstrating high performance.

  • Possess qualities such as zest, grit, hope, social and emotional intelligence, gratitude, and a sense of humor.

  • Commitment to contributing to a team-oriented, high quality, mission-driven school culture where excellence is expected.
