JPMorgan Chase Tax Oriented Investments - Housing Investments Portfolio Administrator - Analyst in Chicago, Illinois

The analyst role is within the Housing Investments Asset Management Group (AM), which is part of JPMorgan's Tax Oriented Investments (TOI) group. As an analyst in TOI, you will play a key role in managing JPM's investments in federal low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC) apartment communities throughout the United States. You will be a member of the Pre-Stabilized Asset Management Team, who works in tandem with the Development Risk Management team to manage the construction/operating risk of each asset through the stabilization period. The Portfolio Administrator will work with DRM on their assigned assets, as well as the Team Leader manager, in a variety of responsibilities such as working with our syndicator relationships with managing the funding process, reviewing post-closing consent requests, and reporting updates for our Single Investment Fund (SIF) portfolio.

Job Responsibilities:

• Review and approve equity funding draw requests thoroughly comprehending the requirements of our Partnership Agreements.

• Perform Asset Management related duties for all pre-stabilized deal consent requests such as GP replacements, property management changes, partnership agreement amendments.

• Work with the DRM Architect to monitor deals under construction and lease up tracking key milestone dates.

• Review and analyze perm loan sizing analysis for SIF properties comparing underwritten property operations to actual.

• Maintaining monthly/quarterly Pre-Stabilized reporting and database management of deal information.

• Coordinate efforts with the internal accounting groups to confirm any changes to transactions that fall behind closing projections to revise original model projections.

• Track Missing Transaction Documents post-closing including LPA amendments on any deal

changes post-closing.

• Review insurance certificates and providers to confirm they meet JPMCC standards.

• Create, maintain, and update as required written guidelines for work processes.

• Participating in meetings with syndicators and fostering a professional relationship among syndicator partners and industry colleagues.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

• Bachelor's Degree in finance, business, economics, or real estate finance.

• Experience (e.g., internship) in real estate or related area a plus (Affordable Housing/Section 42 experience a plus).

• Detail oriented and accurate, with a strong desire to learn and excel.

• Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal) with clients and respond to requests appropriately.

• Ability to work independently and interact with various levels of management.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.

• Excellent Organizational Skills.
