You Are:

As a Data Engineering, Management & Governance professional, you will play a pivotal role in building data solutions for ingestion, transformation, and structuring data, utilizing both vendor and open-source tools for building, migrating, and deploying data pipelines.

The Work:

  • Develop and implement data governance frameworks to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance across the organization.

  • Provide strategic guidance on data policies, standards, and processes to enhance data quality and usability.

  • Leverage deep industry knowledge to advise on best practices for data stewardship and regulatory compliance.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive a culture of data accountability and governance excellence.

Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 25% to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.

Here’s What You Need:

  • Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience on Cloud and Big Data technologies such serverless data processing, Spark/SparkSQL, batch and streaming services, event-driven data pipelines, cloud databases, and programming languages such as Python, SQL, and Node.js

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in data governance frameworks and tools (e.g., Collibra, OpenDQ Frameworks)

  • Minimum 5 years of strong understanding of data quality, metadata management, and lineage tracking

  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and compliance standards

  • Minimum 5 years of proficiency in establishing data stewardship and accountability models

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in implementing master data management (MDM) solutions

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience in large-scale data integration and data warehouse solutions

  • Ability to lead and effectively facilitate design sessions with business customers and the BI team to derive data requirements and data design information

  • Cloud (e.g. AWS) data path certifications

  • Business acumen and domain knowledge to catch nuances in the meaning of the data, collaborate with cross-functional teams to better understand their areas of expertise, and communicate effectively with their leadership teams.

  • A good understanding of governance and security best practices as well as their organization’s policies, procedures, and protocols to maintain the required regulatory and privacy compliance.

  • Basic knowledge of machine learning (ML) and models and statistical analysis to better collaborate with data scientists and business leaders

  • Demonstrable knowledge in artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, and other relevant technical domains

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
