Wells Enterprises Territory Sales Associate in Chicago, Illinois
The Territory Sales Associate is responsible for leading account sales for banners and chains - including Woodmans, Tony's, Pete's, Berkot's, Strack & Van Til, and Festival Foods. The TSA's work closely with Business Development Managers and Retail Sales Associates to ensure effective execution of account plans.
Responsibilities Include:
Develop plan for customer interaction and meetings – Follow plan to maintain regular contact with customers and adjust depending on business needs
Develop a Business Plan for each assigned account. Collaborate with BDM and Regional Managers to build plans. Share out with Field Sales team to drive focus and execution
Develop and present promotional contracts to customers as needed. Collaborate with BDM’s to ensure promotions are aligned with our business needs and our customer’s objectives
Present new items, manage product mix and space allocation per account – Work with Category Management when needed
If Category Captain – Work with Category Management team to build POG’s. Schedule and oversee resets. Work closely with Regional Managers to ensure all reset coverage needs are met
Build new and foster existing critical field-level customer relationships with decision makers and influencers beyond customer’s corporate contacts (i.e. Regional/District/Merchandising Managers)
Support BDM’s in corporate customer meetings, representing voice of field sales and banner groups to improve overall performance
Lead action planning and Business Plan execution with the Field Sales team, collaborating with Regional Manager and merchandisers to drive impact and meet company objectives
Lead communication to the Field Sales team; (i.e. monthly priorities, sell sheets, data/analytics)
Develop and share out Promotional Schedule to the Field Sales team as needed. This should be accompanied with sells sheets, suggested order forms and other supporting market data to help drive sales
