Summary

DLA Piper is seeking a mid-level associate to join its Investment Funds group. This position is open to our Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, New York, Washington, D.C. and California offices.

Experience

• 2+ years of transactional tax experience dealing with fund formation, Section 892 investors, real estate, income tax treaties, and cross border transactions.

• Direct and applicable AmLaw 100 law firm or SEC experience.

Physical Demands, Work Environment, and Other Requirements

Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.

• Hybrid with some in-office expectations or remote (as appropriate).

• Some travel required.

Pay Transparency

In accordance with California, New York City, and Washington, D.C. Pay Transparency Laws, the pay range for this position, if hired to work in California, New York City or Washington D.C. is $235,000-$310,000 per year. The compensation offered to a candidate selected for employment will be dependent upon various factors, including the candidate’s geographic market, skills, educational and professional background, experience, and overall qualifications. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k).
