Google Web Solutions Engineering, Learning and Development Tech, Mastery in Chicago, Illinois

This role may also be located in our Playa Vista, CA campus.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math, related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience in software development.

  • 4 years of experience in full-stack software development and system design.

  • Experience with front end languages (e.g., JavaScript or TypeScript).

  • Experience with backend languages (e.g., Java, Python, or C++).

  • Experience working with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL), and in agile development lifecycle.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with third-party system’s integration.

  • Experience adding instrumentation to web applications and services.

  • Experience managing projects with cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Experience in creating and delivering learning solutions.

  • Experience in agile software development, creating prototypes, and design documents.

  • Experience coding in Python, Go, JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, C#, PHP, Ruby or Scala.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $120,000-$176,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Work with Subject Matter Experts to deeply understand their needs to design solutions.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to prototype, solicit, and incorporate feedback to refine requirements.

  • Code, review, test, deploy, and monitor scalable and reliable web solutions.

  • Look into Google solutions and tools to build seamlessly integrated solutions that are reusable and extensible.
