As a member of one of the world’s largest Workday-certified teams, you’ll be part of a team of advisory professionals who deliver more than just technology. From rapid deployments to entire transformations, you’ll deliver integrated, payroll, cloud-based HR, and financial management solutions that put organizations on the fast track to a better way to work.

As a Workday HCM/Finance Manager your primary responsibilities may include:

  • Lead business process analysis during a pre-plan/phase zero Workday implementation for multiple workstreams (e.g., Benefits and Absence, Procurement, Suppliers, Expenses, etc.)

  • Identify strategies, risks, recommend approaches, and areas of alignment to Workday standard business processes while meeting client requirements

  • Provide and advise clients on recommendations for best practices and industry standards related to multiple Workday functional area business processes

  • Oversee multiple functional work streams/domains on a Workday phase zero and implementation project (e.g., function as the overall HCM/Finance Lead for the project) or function as the lead for the HCM/Compensation work stream

  • Able to effectively connect with and influence senior level executives that drive decisions and change across the organization

  • Lead HCM or Finance Business Process Alignment workshops/sessions driving to identify alignment areas to implement leading practices related to Workday functionality (functional areas include, but not limited to: HCM, Comp, Time Tracking, Benefits, Expenses, Core Finance, etc.)

  • Architect/Design Workday HCM/Finance solutions to ensure that all work streams are cohesive and cross functional impacts are considered.

  • Lead, mentor, counsel other consultants on client business process opportunities and transition architect/design effectively for streamlined configuration and testing phases

  • Creation of decision papers for complex, cross-functional alignment areas, demonstrating various design options that drive efficiency and value for our clients

  • Cross-functional depth of knowledge (HCM, Payroll, Finance) to address touchpoints between business areas when identifying and solutioning leading practices

  • Understand and apply Workday and Accenture methodologies

  • Demonstrate strong client and stakeholder management to achieve project objectives

  • Support innovation through the creation of new industry leading methods, assets, and striving to always bring value to our clients

Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.

Here’s what you need:

  • Existing and up to date Workday HCM/Finance Certification

  • Minimum of 3 years of consulting experience, most recently in a Lead role, or similar level role, preferably with a large consulting firm

  • Minimum of 3 years of hands- on experience delivering HCM/Finance implementations in a leadership role

  • Experience managing cross functional teams and multiple HCM or Finance workstreams

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate Degree, must have minimum 6 years of work experience)

Bonus points if:

  • 6+ years prior experience implementing Workday with a certified Workday implementer.

  • HR knowledge and HR Technology experience in Workday, SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP technologies (preferably cloud based)

  • Demonstrated commitment and achievement to delivery excellence and client relationship management

  • Demonstrated understanding of the cross functional dependencies and impacts to conversions and integrations

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines, despite conflicting demands.

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, New York or Washington as set forth below.We accept applications on an on-going basis and there is no fixed deadline to apply.
