We are seeking candidates for our Workforce Solutions and Total Rewards Sales Specialist position. This role is a hybrid position and prefers candidates based in the Chicago area, however, we will also consider candidates in other regions.

  • In this role, you will work closely with the team to drive sales related activities required to achieve sales and growth targets across an assigned territory.
  • Partnering with the Career Products direct sales team, this position will lead day to day processes related to client demonstrations, expansion opportunities and new business prospecting efforts.

We will count on you to:

  • Partner with Sales Professionals to assist in creation of sales proposals, presentations, RFP responses, statements of work, and expansion ideas for larger/complex clients.
  • Grow your sales acumen, by leading pursuits of smaller prospects.
  • Become a subject matter expert with our products, solutions and tools and be able to lead system demonstrations in support of the direct sales team.
  • Partner with Sales Professionals on the pursuit of prospects by conducting research on business/HR issues, assisting with meeting preparation, facilitation and follow-up
  • Research and identify potential clients to target and proactively reach out to prospective clients through via email campaigns, cold calling, etc.

What you need to have:

  • Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent experience equaling 3+ years in a corporate office or professional services firm.
  • Previous experience in a role primarily focused on business development or sales functions
  • Excellent organizational, time management, execution, and tracking skills.

  • Experiential knowledge of the compensation and rewards industry.
  • Experience in an HCM or Human Resources focused position.
  • Experience presentation sales presentations or demos.

Marsh McLennan is committed to hybrid work, which includes the flexibility of working remotely and the collaboration, connections and professional development benefits of working together in the office. All Marsh McLennan colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one \"anchor day\" per week on which their full team will be together in person.

The applicable base salary range for this role is \$63,300 to \$126,800.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements.
