Position: Account Manager (Commercial Lines)

Location: Chicopee, MA

Job Type: Salaried/Permanent

Our client, a reputable and independent full line insurance agency, is seeking an Account Manager to manage and grow their commercial insurance accounts. In this role, you will be responsible for meeting the insurance needs of business clients, ensuring prompt and accurate service, and supporting sales efforts. This is a direct-hire role, with excellent benefits, and flexible hours (half days on Fridays!). The Account Manager is a great opportunity if you are looking for a low stress environment at an independent agency with a long-standing history serving Western, MA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and renew commercial insurance policies for existing clients.

• Prepare and process new business proposals and renewals.

• Respond to client inquiries, resolve coverage issues, and handle audits.

• Maintain accurate client records and files in our agency management system.

• Assist with sales and marketing efforts to grow the business.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in commercial insurance or account management.

• Valid Property & Casualty insurance license.

• Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.

• Proficiency with insurance software and Microsoft Office.
