Summary You will serve as a FINANCIAL TECHNICIAN in the COMPTROLLER GROUP, ACCOUNTING DEPARTMENT, COST ACCOUNTING DIVISION of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE. Responsibilities You will be responsible for processing accounting transactions (i.e. commitments, obligations, account payables, and cash payments). You will input manual orders into Navy ERP. You will review processed transactions to ensure that transaction data is current and accurate in accordance with the procedures. You will review financial transactions for errors and prepare accurate adjustment transactions in accordance with functional team and Comptroller guidelines. You will work with other team members, team leads, and supervisors to coordinate operational support and to provide a high quality of service to all customers in a timely, professional manner. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications DG-03: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DG-02 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following: 1) Adhering to policies and procedures related to financial transactions; 2) Maintaining accounting records, property inspection reports, and inventory; 3) Extracting records and balancing basic information from routine or recurring reports using standardized procedures; 4) Prioritizing tasks in order to meet deadlines and achieve desired results. DG-02: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of general experience in federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector that demonstrates progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that indicates ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the position to be filled.
