Under general supervision, AutoZone's Industrial Engineer will perform moderate duties in researching, designing and/or developing methods and materials which will increase operation efficiency and the utilization of distribution facilitiesRESPONSIBILITIES: Review and measure DC performance in comparison to DC Best Business Practices. Make recommendations for improvements. Analyze DC quality control and inventory control processes and methods Develop tools to improve inventory slotting and labor planning in the DCs. Work with IT personnel and outside vendors as necessary to Implement software solutions to productivity enhancements. REQUIREMENT: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related disciplines, or relevant equivalent experience Two to five years experience in a distribution center or manufacturing environment (or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering) Labor Metrics Software and Engineered Standards preferredCompensation Range (USD): MIN 69100.0 - MID 95000.0 - MAX 120900.0
