0 Mixing Operator Reporting directly to the Production Supervisor, the Line 3 Operator is responsible for the end-to-end operation of line 3, ensuring there are no delays in supplying product to the line 1 and 2 production schedules and no delays in shipment to outside suppliers. Position Requirements Education, Credentials, Licenses: A High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required. Position-specific vocational education/experience, training, or certification is preferred. Stand-up forklift certification required; in-house certification will be provided prior to start. Kind & Length of Experience: Experience working in a manufacturing or warehouse setting is preferred. 1-year stand-up forklift experience is preferred. Physical Requirements: Able to work in different climates. Able to walk up stairs, climb ladders, and walk long distances. Able to independently lift up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis during shift Able to work an 8-hour shift standing. All Employee Requirements: Complete all required training assignments. Adhere to all site environmental, health, safety, and security requirements, local, state, and federal regulations. Maintain hazardous waste in accordance with all local, state, and federal regulations. Follow all RC14001 guiding principles, policies, procedures, and other requirements. Other duties as requested. Performance Measures & Standards Operate a stand-up forklift safely and effectively. Handle all supersacks, avoiding product spills or damage. Ability to generate supersacks ID paper and LPA tags. Operate weight scales for QA checks. Operate filling stations safely and effectively. Perform complete color changes on whole machine. Ability to perform the start-up. Maintain and follow a daily cleaning log to keep all equipment at optimal condition and keep dirt, dust, and debris out of product to meet quality standards. Perform quality paperwork as needed, being sure to follow proper documentation procedures. Properly operator RF scanner and labeling equipment. Ability to troubleshoot all required tasks. Frequently required to understand and follow verbal communication. Frequently required to provide clear written communication. Wear proper PPE required for plant safety. Provide prompt communication about plant issues to QA, engineering, and/or maintenance teams to help drive continuous improvement. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal errors, while maintaining a safety-first mentality. Deliver materials to line 3 and return to flow racks using stand-up forklifts, RF scanners, pallet jacks, and other warehousing equipment. Operate machine HMI screen to change recipes. Basic computer skills. Ability to track and code downtime properly. Positively interact with co-workers in a manner that ensures good workflow and organization. Follow the production schedule as required. Operate a hoist to effectively load product into the filling equipment in accordance with safety and quality standards. Understand and adhere to all tasks, departmental, site, and company safety rules or standards. Follow all safety policies and procedures and assist in maintaining a safe work environment. Comply with all customers, regulatory, and quality requirements in the performance of all tasks as set forth in the company's policies and procedures.
