Accounting Project Specialist

Job Description

CTL Aerospace is a full service NADCAP certified composite-manufacturing company providing services to the major aerospace and governmental organizations since 1946. CTL specializes in the manufacturing of Fiber Reinforced Polymer Structures. We are located conveniently in northern Cincinnati, Ohio location (less than 30 minutes from Dayton and/or northern Kentucky).

We are seeking a talented Accounting Project Specialist who will maintain the overall accuracy of the accounts, ledgers and financial records within their remit. This person will perform a wide range of Accounting and IT system tasks daily to keep the ERP system up to date.

Job Requirements

• Responsible for the credit control function for all customer accounts and collection of all pro-forma orders.
• Process all sales updates for all customer invoices and credit notes.
• Run monthly credit control meetings.
• Prepare and process the Cash Receipts -- matching cash receipts to invoices paid.
• Reconcile Customer accounts in conjunction with Credit Control.
• Reconcile Sales Ledger Control Accounts on a monthly basis.
• Maintaining the AR order hold process and compliance hold process.
• Prepare the OEM Discount, Credit Note spreadsheets for use during the month end close.
• Act as a liaison with Auditors, Customer service and the business.
• Process and maintain accounts receivable to include recharge invoices, collection of invoices, cashbook reconciliation.
• Perform detailed financial analysis
• Other tasks will include month end close journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and ad-hoc analytical analysis.
• Maintaining and implementing internal controls to a high standard.
• Cover and support Accounts Payable as needed or in times of Absence.
• Work closely with the IT Department implementing MRP functions from the ERP system.
• Special projects as assigned.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• 8 to 10 years Accounting experience
• Experience with an ERP system and implementing and utilizing MRP module of an ERP system
• Ability to prioritize and to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to oversee confidential information in a discreet, professional manner
• Eye for detail, accuracy is imperative
• Able to meet deadlines
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills
• Ability to be an effective team member and display initiative
• Advanced skills in Excel

• Natural born U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder
