Description We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Cincinnati, Ohio. This role involves supporting the team in maintaining and updating various accounting functions, ensuring accurate records and efficient processing of invoices. The role is a short term contract employment opportunity with a significant focus on high-volume data entry and accounts payable tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process customer credit applications to ensure efficient operations.

• Maintain and update customer credit records regularly to ensure accuracy.

• Assist with invoice and general-ledger data entry tasks to keep records up to date.

• Perform bank account and credit card reconciliation tasks to ensure all transactions are accounted for.

• Generate purchase orders as necessary to facilitate operational processes.

• Obtain and print signatures on all checks to maintain financial security.

• Assist senior financial officers as needed to ensure smooth operations.

• Use accounting software systems effectively to manage accounting functions.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel to manage and analyze financial data.

• Apply knowledge of accrual accounting and auditing practices in daily tasks. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
