About UC Blue Ash The Health Care Support Technician Program at UC Blue Ash invites applicants for our Patient Care Technician Adjunct Faculty general pool of candidates from which part-time faculty will be selected for the Spring/Summer 2025 Term. Job Overview On a part-time limited basis, the Adjunct Faculty member's primary academic functions include teaching, discovering, creating, and reporting knowledge to students. Part-time faculty must be able to teach a Patient Care Technician course, depending on candidates' expertise, within a fully face-to-face academic course. Therefore, we are actively seeking Adjunct Faculty with experience and/or interest in teaching a face-to-face course. Adjunct faculty members will be expected to (1) use our course management system (Canvas) and any textbook-specific systems; (2) hold regular office hours to meet with students and reply to student communications in a timely manner; and (3) participate in at least one professional development workshop per year. Essential Functions On a part-time basis, teach assigned undergraduate courses. Using best practices, continually evaluate student coursework. Engage in other activities ancillary to or in support of their responsibilities. Review and respond in a timely manner to all University-related and student communications. Other related duties as assigned. Required Education A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. Required Trainings/Certifications A current Ohio State Nursing License as a Registered Nurse.
