Qualified candidates will provide evaluation and treatment in our Outpatient Behavioral Pain Management Service, inpatient Functional Independence Restoration (FIRST) Inpatient Program, and youth with pain-related feeding disorders (ARFID). Responsibilities for this position includes providing evidenced based treatment for children and teenagers and their families presenting with a wide range of chronic primary pain and functional disorders in conjunction with an interdisciplinary team of specialists. There are opportunities to participate in training for psychology residents and fellows, as well as the potential to engage in clinical research activities. Ideal candidates will have completed a doctorate in clinical psychology (APA accredited) and be licensed or license-eligible in Ohio. At a minimum, candidates should have experience with evidence-based treatment for chronic pain, including pain focused cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT; experience with ACT would be optimal) and experience in working in both outpatient and inpatient/day hospital settings. Candidate with postdoctoral training focused on chronic pain is preferred but not required. Candidates from underrepresented groups are encouraged to apply.
