Job Description:

In this role you will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating the final approval of products through the complete production cycle to meet production requirements. Additionally, you work to resolve labor and material shortages, backlogs, and other potential schedule interruptions.

Essential Functions:

  • Distribute production schedules or work orders to departments.

  • Review documents, such as production schedules and work orders, to determine materials requirements or material priorities.

  • Requisition and maintain inventories of materials or supplies necessary to meet production demands.

  • Arrange for delivery, assembly, or distribution of supplies or parts to expedite flow of materials and meet production schedules.

  • Analyze information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.

  • Providing information to supervisors and co-workers by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.

  • Works from Bills of Material and Manufacturing plans and production specifications to ensure materials are provided according to planned schedules. Advises management of the status of work in progress.

  • Coordinates with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and interfaces with engineering program management, and external customers.

  • Ensures availability of materials to meet production requirements and delivery commitments.

  • Monitor and review information from materials, events, or the environment, to detect or assess problems.

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering or other related degree and a minimum of 0-1 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 1 years prior related experience.

  • Relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacturing and distribution of goods.

  • Experience transmitting information from all relevant sources.

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills

  • Ability to work cross functionally on a diverse team

    Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Proficient in MS Office
