JONES LANG LASALLE AMERICAS INC Critical Environment Lead Engineer in Cincinnati, Ohio

Location: Cincinnati, OH Salary: $36.05 - $40.38/hr 2nd Shift position: 3 PM-1 AM Monday through Thursday. The Critical Environment Lead Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the Critical Environments Preventive Maintenance Program is properly implemented and maintained at all clients designated Critical Facilities located in their respective region. The position will require a strong focus on operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing facility equipment on all systems. Additionally, this individual will be managing the 2nd shift engineers to ensure all preventive maintenances are completed in a timely manner, assist in developing facilities operating procedures as needed, perform vendor management, and monitor training programs. Principal Duties and Responsibilities Task will include but not be limited to: Responsible for managing the day operations for the second shift engineering team working in the critical environment. This includes performing maintenance and monitoring repairs to electrical, mechanical, plumbing, structural, furniture, control, and fire, life and safety systems. Coordinate with Chief to ensure all vendor scheduled tasks are well planned in advance Must interface with Critical Operations Team to coordinate Critical Area Program. This will include but not be limited to; scheduling maintenance windows in Change Management, participating in staff meetings, interfacing with key vendors and project management personnel, and keeping up with written communications within the Critical Environment Team. Maintain schedules of Preventative Maintenance on Critical Equipment Maintain HVAC systems and equipment at optimum levels (e.g., cleaning, inspecting, changing parts). Where necessary, record readings and make adjustments to ensure proper operation of equipment. Assist site with emergency situations (e.g., fire alarms, environmental spill, chemical spills, hazardous conditions) and take appropriate actions and escalate to upper management in a timely manner. Ensure compliance with JLL , OSHA, NFPA and other AHJ standards and requirements. Participate in incident investigations. Maintain a clean and safe workplace. Monitor pricing and work quality of outside contractors. Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Develop, implement, and train on the associated EOP's and SOP's for all Critical Infrastructure Qualifications 5-7 years of experience as a maintenance engineer preferably operating in critical environments. Education - Should have electrical, mechanical, or controls trade related background with intermediate skills in Microsoft Office. Strong electrical/mechanical background is required. Software Skills - Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, Power Point, and Visio programs. Personal Characteristics - Good interpersonal skills, ability to communicate well in both verbal and written reports. Must be both reliable, able to meet critical deadlines and meticulous in report data. An excellent organizational skill is essential.
