UC HEALTH LLC Data Architect, Data &Analytics in CINCINNATI, Ohio
UC Health is hiring a Full Time Data Architect The purpose of this position is to function as an advanced technical lead to coordinate, validate and deliver short and long-term enterprise data management initiatives. This individual designs, develops, implements, maintains and continuously refines data warehouse architectures using the Epic Caboodle framework, logical and physical data models, application ransactional interfaces, data integration methods, and end-to-end data flows. This position will need to have a clear understanding of the data and work with key stakeholders in order to validate accurate results and reconcile discrepancies when necessary. - Minimum Required: Bachelor's degree.
- Preferred: Masters Degree. | Epic Data (Caboodle / Clarity) certified within six months. |
- 1-2 Years equivalent experience - Minimum Required.
- 3 - 5 Years equivalent experience - Preferred.
- 4 Years equivalent experience can substitute for a BA/BS Degree.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
- Demonstrated experience and highly skilled with database concepts SQL Server, SSIS, T-SQL, query optimization tools and techniques, data modelling techniques, and relational database design.
- Good understanding of the features available in SQL Server to achieve a scalable database solution.
- Experience architecting and building Data Warehouses, DataMarts, and/or Data Lakes.
- Epic Caboodle Custom Development certification required in first 6 months of employment required, existing certification preferred.
- Familiarity with Informatica preferred.

Design & document the organization's enterprise data architecture, collaborating with multiple operational departments and IS&T stakeholders.
Architect the enterprise Caboodle strategy, with a clearly documented process of integrating data into Caboodle from various sources.
Oversees the migration into the Epic Caboodle data warehouse of data from legacy systems and external data to new solutions.
Works with users to automate schedule of reporting and other data driven functions.
