Emergency Transportation Communication Specialist, Nights (AFSCME) UC Health is hiring a full -time communication specialist to join our Air Care & Mobile Care team! The Communications Specialist is responsible for coordinating and facilitating communication between transport teams and referring providers for both air and ground medical transport. They triage patients to determine the appropriate level of care, track vehicles, and ensure patient and team safety during transport. The Specialist collaborates with various healthcare and safety personnel to provide high-quality, patient-centered care, adhering to medical transport and aviation regulations.   • Air Care & Mobile Care specializes in caring for and transporting critically injured and sick patients, wherever they may be, by bringing the world-class care of UC Medical Center to the patient.

``` - High School Diploma or GED; Minimum Required - Associate or Bachelor's Degree; Preferred - Minimum of 1 year of EMT/Paramedic experience (3 years preferred) or - Minimum of 1 year of relevant emergency dispatching experience.
