Your role. Your work will include, but not be limited to: * Manage forensic accounting engagements * Conduct fraud investigations and audits * Prepare and review written reports * Evaluate internal control structures and data to help identify weaknesses and associated risks and make recommendations on how to mitigate those risks and evaluate the general risk faced by clients * Analyze audit and accounting procedures and controls for possible exposure to fraudulent financial reporting * Perform financial statement analysis and develop recommendations * Summarize, analyze and prepare analysis reports and finding in clear, logical and concise manner * Interact with and interview clients and other external sources to obtain relevant information and documents * Help develop and manage staff * Engages in client expansion and cross-serving with meaningful fees sold goal; recognizes importance of lead generation * Review and lead proposals and engagement letter development * Builds a relationship with client decision-makers where ideas and new service offerings can be discussed * Begins to develops personal relationships with third parties associated with the client (e.g. banker, attorney, vendor, etc.) to facilitate referrals * Analyzes budgets/time summaries for planning and billing purposes; leads billing activities; responsible for realization goals * Responsible for practice economics including production, realization, billing and collection * Anticipating and addressing client concerns and escalating problems as they arise * Actively manages a portfolio of decision makers in ways that create referrals and references. The qualifications. Bachelor's Degree required CPA Designation is required Credentials of CFE, CFF, CIA, and/or CMA are preferred but not required 8+ years of recent experience in forensic consulting in a public accounting firm or technical consulting firm Experience managing engagement teams and relevant skills in project execution with hands on experience in the full life cycle of a project Business experience working with clients and managing multiple projects Proficiency working with Alteryx, Tableau, or similar software preferred Proven practice development sales experience Ability to travel overnight or internationally may be required Previous expert testimony experiences preferred Our difference.
