UC Health is hiring an IT Application Analyst for the Clinical Systems Applications Team IS&T Department Clinical Systems (Applications Team) supports approximately 110+ applications, handling break fix, production support, upgrades and new application projects for the organization. The duties of this position include technical support, integration support, customer relations and application support for the Applications Clinical Systems team. Responsible for implementing and supporting designated software applications in accordance with departmental standards and procedures. Work with users to apply system functionality to production practices. Develops reports to meet users requirements. Develops operational procedures and test software. • Bachelors degree in Information Systems or related field combination of education preferred.
• Two or more years experience with computer applications (programming, analysis, or end user with demonstrated understanding of applications) preferred.
• Healthcare systems experience desired.
• Applications knowledge in UC Health current systems preferred.

• Provides documented solution alternatives to problems/issues including adhoc reports to support offered solutions.
• Executes application design changes according to established procedures.

• Performs complete testing of software and validates application requirements are met.
• Provides maintenance support for all application tables or reports.
• Provides user training and/or support to customers, training, and operations staff.
• Provides timely and accurate support to resolve application errors and user reported problems.
• Utilizes and adheres to production support standards including Total Support Desk.
• Documents application request using the Service Request and Analysis Checklist formats. Acts as a resource / subject matter expert for the UC Health Departments.
• Assists in the evaluation for system hardware and software products. Checks, verifies, processes standard application reports as required by end users.
