Basic Job Functions:

• Work closely with business partners to collect product (application) needs and document them as acceptance criteria within Feature documents

• Represent these needs to the development teams in order for them to create user stories and sprint plans

• Work with the architecture teams to develop an overall product vision

• Ensure that the development team always has a planned and prioritized team story backlog

• Provide leadership for PI and sprint planning sessions

• Communicate with other Product owners and Scrum Masters to ensure that dependencies and risks are well planned for

• Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy

• Lead UAT / product feedback sessions with the business users and capture new ideas or gaps

• Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories

• Work closely with Product Management Team(s) to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value

• Lead the team level planning of product releases and set the expectation for delivery of new functionalities

• Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals

• Research and analyze market, the users, and the roadmap for a product

• Keep abreast with Agile/Scrum best practices

Minimum Qualifications:

• Business Analysis and/or Project Manager and/or Product Owner experience [1+] year(s)

• BS in Computer Science, Engineering or similar relevant field

• In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles

• Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills

• Creative thinker with a vision
