Maintenance Technician

Job Description

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the upkeep and repair of our production equipment, focusing on conveyor systems, 3-phase motors, gear boxes, low voltage electrical troubleshooting, and mechanical components. This role is crucial in ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular maintenance and emergency repairs on conveyor systems, 3-phase motors, and gear boxes.

  • Diagnose and fix low voltage electrical issues.

  • Perform mechanical repairs and preventive maintenance on various machinery.

  • Adhere to safety protocols and company standards during all maintenance activities.

  • Work closely with the production team to quickly resolve equipment malfunctions.

  • Keep detailed records of maintenance work and equipment performance.

  • Support the installation and setup of new machinery.

Qualifications:

  • Experience as a Maintenance Technician in a food processing or industrial setting.

  • Expertise in conveyor systems, 3-phase motors, gear boxes, and low voltage electrical troubleshooting.

  • Strong mechanical skills and experience with equipment maintenance.

  • Ability to read and understand technical manuals and schematics.

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.

  • Self-motivated with good time management skills.
