altafiber Multimedia Intern in Cincinnati, Ohio

Position : Multimedia Intern

Location : Cincinnati, OH

Job Purpose :

In this role, the individual is responsible for helping to plan, execute, and deliver internal and external-facing multimedia content that increases employee and community engagement and brand equity, and that supports the purchase of our products and services.

This individual will be responsible for the following primary objectives:

  • Work with our Multimedia Producer to plan, execute, and deliver content for internal/external audiences. This individual will help translate ideas into an action plan that results in dynamic multimedia content. Responsibilities will include:

  • Helping plan and physically set up video shoots in and out of the office

  • Support the Multimedia Producer during shoots

  • Edit raw footage into cohesive video content based on the working plan

  • Share working video drafts for review and incorporate feedback on deadline

  • This individual will also be expected to occasionally lead multimedia video shoots when the Multimedia Producer is not available.

  • This individual will help the Multimedia Producer maintain an organized digital archive that internal and external parties can use as needed to promote altafiber and our impact in the community.

Essential Functions :

  • Demonstrated experience in planning and creating multimedia content including videos.

Education :

Four years of High School or equivalent

Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

  • Deep understanding of digital technology and production/editing experience.

  • Ability to work in a deadline-oriented environment and ability to adapt to fast-changing circumstances in real time.

  • Strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills.

  • Ability to constructively coach individuals in front of camera.

  • Ability to understand how external-facing content will translate in the market and offer constructive feedback, with the goal of building altafiber’s brand equity.
