Job Overview Under the direction of Assistant Director of STEM Academic Support Services, the program coordinator will plan, design, deliver, evaluate, modify and coordinate math support for UC Clermont Learning Commons. Essential Functions Provide and coordinate on-campus and virtual math tutoring support to students from a variety of backgrounds and levels of preparation. Provide embedded tutor services in math classes with high DFW rates. Design, create and conduct workshops related to math support. In conjunction with the program supervisor, monitor weekly usage, identify problems and solutions, and develop clear goals and action steps for program enhancement. Plan, create and implement marketing strategies to engage students in math tutoring, promote class supports to faculty and increase usage rates. Assist with the development, administration, and analysis of assessment/evaluation surveys. Educate, collaborate, liaise, and perform outreach about math tutoring and UC Clermont Learning Commons services to students, faculty, staff and other college stakeholders. Make presentations about UC Clermont Learning Commons services and participate in campus events such as Fall Fest, Open House, etc. Support other tutoring areas such as statistics and business analytics. Required Education Bachelor's Degree in Math or Math Education. Five (5) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement. Required Experience One year of tutoring or teaching math. Technical Skills To perform this job successfully, the candidate should be fluent in email communication and have experience with Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and web conferencing software like Teams and Zoom. Physical Requirements/Work Environment Office environment/no specific unusual physical or environmental demands.
