The College of Medicine, Office of Medical Education is recruiting a new program coordinator in Medical Education. This position will support the University's mission and commitment to excellence in our students, faculty, staff, and all our activities. The Program Coordinator reports directly to the Director for Medical Education. Essential Functions Serve as chief examination proctor which includes: coordinating the schedule for all M1/2 (Phase 1) examinations; providing support for student examinations including, but not limited to: providing testing instructions to students; ordering exams; coordinating proctors; troubleshooting technological issues related to electronic exams; and serving as point of contact to testing/examination vendors. Such activities may require attention outside of normal business hours. Provide backup proctoring support to M3 (Phase 2) examinations. Provide coordination support to course directors in the curriculum including, but not limited to maintaining course materials and coordinating communications on the learning management system, syllabus management, coordinating student course schedules, and other items that pertain to students and the learning management system. Provide administrative support to medical education committees. Duties include: disseminating and posting agendas, taking meeting minutes, coordinating student attendance at meetings, preparing relevant communications after the meetings, and coordinating materials for committee meetings. Manage confidential records such as grades and remediations. Manage and support multiple email inboxes and scheduling calendars. Coordinate scheduling in learning spaces (e.g. classrooms, labs, small group rooms). Support website edits. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Education Bachelor's Degree. Five (5) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement. Required Experience One (1) year of program coordination experience.
