Job Overview Under general supervision from the Executive Director of Marketing and Communications, serve as central project coordinator for Marketing + Communications to ensure successful execution with expectations met for both internal and external constituents. Essential Functions Assist with the development of program and project objectives and monitor qualitative and quantitative data with custom reports on progress toward objectives for strategic marketing, communications, and creative projects. Provide oversight of the execution, deliverables, and timeliness of all MarCom projects. Review objectives to identify problems and solutions, prioritize solutions and develop action plans for project and process improvements. Manage budgeted initiatives and ensure fulfillment, including purchase order creation, invoice remittance, and expense tracking. Manage divisional project management software platforms (Asana and Trello) and provide training and support for divisional members. Assist with the development and implementation of strategies to engage participants both internally and externally. Serve as liaison for various vendors and contract operations. Manage and monitor budget including purchase order creation, invoice remittance and expense tracking. Serve as a member of university-wide, community and industry committees and/or meetings. Provide direct supervision to exempt and non-exempt staff (i.e., hiring, performance evaluations, disciplinary action, approve time off, etc.). Perform related duties based on departmental need. Required Education Bachelor's Degree Five (5) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement. Required Experience One (1) year of relevant experience in program or project coordination. Physical Requirements/Work Environment Office environment/no specific unusual physical or environmental demands.
