Job Description

U.S. Bank Equipment Finance is one of the largest bank-affiliated equipment finance companies in the nation. Currently we have an opportunity to join the Manufacturing Vendor Services Group.

U.S. Bank Equipment Finance – Manufacturing Vendor Services is an industry leader, providing financing solutions for manufacturers purchasing equipment. As part of the 5th largest bank in the country, we are well capitalized and do not rely on secondary markets to discount our transactions. We have our own in-house leasing associates, credit underwriting and equipment management teams to provide service, convenience and flexibility to our many clients in the manufacturing sector. We are currently seeking a high performing sales representative for the Mideast territory (Ohio, Michigan, NW Pennsylvania, West Virginia).

This position is home based in either Ohio or Michigan and requires monthly travel within the territory.

The Relationship Manager will be responsible for: building and managing existing customer relationships and will identify, analyze, and qualify new direct leasing business for Manufacturing Vendor Services. Initiating, developing and maintaining relationships with numerous vendor sources of leasing business in the Manufacturing industry. Meeting with both direct and vendor prospects to explain leasing services and to discuss leasing program development and implementation. Working closely with home office support team to assure customer satisfaction at all times. Consulting with clients daily about their business strategies and how U.S. Bank can help them increase their profitability, reduce administrative expense, make them more competitive, and reduce their overall business risk.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • 10 or more years of leasing and sales experience

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Strong knowledge of leasing/financing products and services, as well as a proven track record of new business development and sales in assigned territory.

  • Strong cold-calling capability.

  • Attention to detail and a commitment to exemplary service.

  • Ability to understand financial/credit policies and pricing analysis and the ability to close and maintain client relationships.

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.

  • Proficiency in business, leasing industry and CRM software.

  • Proven track record of success in manufacturing leasing and vendor program experience.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $95,285.00 - $112,100.00 - $123,310.00
