Location Description Post Consumer Brands in Cincinnati is a small, but mighty, team handling the company's relationship with Kroger, one of our largest industry retail partners. The Post office is just a short walk from Kroger's headquarters and the reason we've set-up base in Cincinnati. Post Consumer Brands is looking for a Kroger Sales Team Intern for a 12-week summer 2025 immersive & transformative internship experience. JOB FUNCTION The purpose of this position is to observe, learn, gather data and information, conduct analysis and fact-finding in order to bring forward ideas for improvement. This position will also provide support to the Kroger Sales team by providing reporting and analytics that drive business insights for the team and broader sales organization. MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES / DUTIES The Kroger Sales Team Intern may assist in a number of project and/or support roles in the Sales department. Assignments may include work such as: Sales Reporting Design, maintain and update all ongoing tracking reports and tools used by Department. Collaborate with Sales/Category Management to explore and align on drivers and causals of variances. Sales Planning Provide thought leadership in cross-functional business discussions. Assist Operations Leadership in analytics and presentation development. Leverage comprehensive and accurate reporting and analysis that drive actionable recommendations and influence business decisions. Retail Trends Prepare and contribute to internal focused Business Reviews, which capture and synthesize current business trends, market trends and competitive information. Assist Leadership in analysis of volume, pricing, promotion, and share trends using IRI, Market6, Stratum and other information sources Specific project and operational roles will be identified 30-60 days prior to the start of the internship, based on business need and intern interests. Qualifications Candidates must be pursuing a four-year undergraduate or graduate degree or at an institution with an accredited program in Business Management with a graduation year of 2026. Proven leadership, problem-solving and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and in teams Strong written and oral communication skills The ideal candidate is a self-starter who takes initiative to identify areas of opportunity and take action A high level of competence in computer applications and the ability to use technology as a decision-support tool Ability to identify and evaluate tactical methods to achieve objectives, identify deviations from the plan, and facilitate resolution Ability to handle confidential information and use discretion within and outside of the organization Previous internship or work experience (strongly preferred) Interest in the consumer packaged goods / manufacturing industry with the desire to start a career with Post Consumer Brands after graduation (strongly preferred) We are unable to proceed with candidates who require visa sponsorship now or in the future Additional Program Information & Perks Offering competitive compensation Access to a dynamic internship event program including development, networking, & social activities Eligible for a $2,500 relocation stipend Please note that this position will be posted until October 15th.
