Our client is an industry/global leader in fragrances as well as taste. Their sole purpose is to provide customers with a broad range of solutions that match the demand for clean, organic and natural ingredients. This company is looking for a Product Safety Manager to join the team. This is an amazing opportunity to work with one of the biggest companies in the flavor and fragrances industry.

Pay : $70-$75/hr, with some flexibility

Location : Remote, must reside in Ohio, East Coast, or Midwest

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Safety Assurance: Lead safety evaluations, risk assessments, and compliance checks for new and existing products, ensuring alignment with company and regulatory standards.

• New Product Development: Provide expert guidance on safety and regulatory aspects of new ingredients and raw materials, incorporating cutting-edge toxicology science and tools.

• Product Documentation and Registration: Oversee the creation and submission of product documentation and studies, ensuring timely registration and compliance.

• Regulatory Policy: Advise on emerging regulatory issues, contribute to policy development, and support commercial teams with scientific and regulatory insights.

Qualifications:

• Advanced degree (Ph.D. or MSc) in toxicology, chemistry, biochemistry, or food chemistry.

• 8-10 years of relevant experience in product safety, regulatory affairs, or a related field.

• In-depth knowledge of US food industry standards, toxicology, and safety assessment.

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex scientific information to non-experts.

• Experience working in a multicultural, multidisciplinary environment.
