Description

You will partner with some of the world's largest Automotive and Manufacturing companies, to craft highly scalable, flexible and resilient cloud architectures that address customer business problems and accelerate the adoption of AWS services.

As a core member of the account team, you will drive revenue growth across a specific customer. As a trusted customer advocate, you will help organizations understand and implement advanced cloud- based solutions, and how to migrate and scale existing workloads in the cloud. You will have the opportunity to shape and execute a strategy to build knowledge and broad use of AWS. You will also need to be adept at interacting, communicating and partnering with other teams within AWS such as services teams, marketing, and professional services, as well as representing your team to executive management.

About the team

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.

Basic Qualifications

  • 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience

  • 5+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience

  • Working knowledge of cloud technologies

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field of study or 12+ years of related work experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • 7+ years design & implementation experience with large distributed applications.

  • 5+ years of experience in core disciplines (E.g. compute, networking, storage, security, database architecture).

  • Professional experience architecting, operating cloud-based solutions.

  • AWS Solution Architecture certification or relevant cloud expertise.

  • Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective.

  • Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.

  • Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, IT Management, and developers.

  • Experience in technology/software sales or pre-sales consulting.
