Job Overview We are seeking an experienced C# developer with exceptional customer service skills to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in C# development and SQL Server, with a proven track record of designing, developing, and implementing robust and scalable software solutions. This individual will work closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, so excellent communication skills are essential. They will be responsible for gathering requirements, providing technical support, as well as developing and delivering high-quality software that meets the needs of clients. The successful candidate should be a problem-solver, able to navigate complex project requirements and deliver solutions that exceed customer expectations. Attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are critical for success in this role. Essential Functions Develop and maintain intermediate to advanced application programs from detailed specifications; create detailed specifications. Develop programming code that is logical, optimizes programming resources, and meets user requirements; work with users to test and debug programs; fluently uses professional tools for source-code management, issue tracking, and testing. Write documentation to provide user support for new or modified programs and production/operations procedures. Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems. Create applications or solutions to support user needs and initiatives. Install, configure, and modify applications and other systems. Maintain and support assigned systems to ensure minimal downtime and loss of productivity and service. Evaluate and enhance the efficiency of existing programs in meeting current and future user needs. Install new, modified, or third-party software releases and/or updates. Evaluate new information systems products or services and suggest changes to existing products or service to better aid the end user. Act as technical lead for one or more software development initiatives. Evaluate and supplement vendor supplied documentation for third party software. Contribute to strategic planning and provide guidance and expertise on system options, risk, cost vs. benefits, and impacts on departmental processes and goals. Serve as an expert resource to others; serve on committees and projects. Serve as a mentor to other employees. May provide direct and/or indirect supervision to exempt and non-exempt staff (i.e., hiring/firing, performance evaluations, disciplinary action, approve time off, etc.).
