Insight Global Sr Compliance Specialist in Cincinnati, Ohio

Job Description

An employer is seeking a Senior Compliance Specialist in the Cincinnati, OH area. This individual will be working as a contract employee on a 6-month contract to hire basis. They will be covering export control, restricted research, and cybersecurity in research. This includes the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), and the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) Regulations and Sanctions; maintain current knowledge of ITAR, EAR and OFAC regulations, information, and best practices. They will be helping in the day-to-day operation and working with stakeholders to address any deficiencies in the requested documentation prior to submission. This individual will be maintaining standard operating procedures for compliance in all of the offices within the organization. The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong working understanding of export controls and the ITAR program with a strong understanding of how to read, interpret, and apply federal regulations to a dynamic and innovative environment.

Skills and Requirements

Bachelor's degree

6-8 years of experience in a compliance related field

4 years of hands-on Export Control experience--ITAR, EAR, OFAC, CUI

General cybersecurity knowledge Higher education/ academia background

Research background null
