Harvest Laborer

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $15 - $19 / Hour

What you'll be doing as a Harvest Laborer:

• Directing and maintaining truck traffic to scale (weigh) and dump pit. 

• Maintain strong attention to detail and quality.

• Outside work, dress for weather, cold, hot, rain etc.

• Ensuring proper storage conditions to maintain grain quality, such as controlling temperature and moisture levels.

• Keeping detailed records of the quantity and quality of grain received, stored, and shipped.

Available shifts:

Shift timings: 1st Shift (Day), 2nd Shift (Evening) & Weekends

Day shift 7am – 7pm Monday – Saturday – Sunday 12pm – 5pm. Hours subject to change

Significant Overtime is available – including required Saturdays and Sunday shifts (12-5pm)

Job requirements:

• Some hands-on experience with farming operations, grain handling, or working in a grain elevator, but willing to train.

• Maintaining inventory records.

• Paying attention to detail.

• Ability to handle peak seasons and long hours during harvest efficiently.

• Other tasks as assigned by site manager

• Outside work, dress for weather, cold, hot, rain etc.

• Lifting, standing, shoveling, and emptying grain trucks, outside work around grain elevator – conditions can be dusty and dirty, dress for weather

• Must commit to entire project of 6-8 weeks
