We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in Clarion, Iowa. The successful candidate will join our team in a dynamic industry setting, utilizing their skills in a range of accounting functions, with a key focus on managing the accounts payable process.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the Accounts Payable Inbox, ensuring efficient and organized handling of emails and queries.

• Ensure accurate coding of invoices, utilizing knowledge of account coding principles.

• Maintain clear and effective communication with the purchasing team and Business Unit Leaders.

• Use Excel for various data entry tasks, demonstrating basic knowledge of the software.

• Utilize AIM, a software for tracking production information, to keep tabs on company operations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in an Accounts Payable role.

• Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles, and experience with accounting software and databases.

• Ability to process and manage large amounts of data accurately.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.

• Superior attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills necessary to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
