For this position the work and candidate must be within driving distance to Clarksburg WV site for on-site work as needed.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Determines enterprise information assurance and security standards.* Develops and implements information assurance/security standards and procedures.* Coordinates, develops, and evaluates security programs for an organization. Recommends information assurance/security solutions to support customers’ requirements.* Identifies, reports, and resolves security violations.* Establishes and satisfies information assurance and security requirements based upon the analysis of user, policy, regulatory, and resource demands.* Supports customers at the highest levels in the development and implementation of doctrine and policies.* Performs a variety of systems engineering tasks and activities that are broad in nature and are concerned with major systems design, integration, and implementation, including personnel, hardware, software, budgetary, and support facilities and/or equipment.* Applies know-how to government and commercial common user systems, as well as to dedicated special purpose systems requiring specialized security features and procedures.* Performs analysis, design, and development of security features for system architectures.* Analyzes and defines security requirements for computer systems which may include mainframes, workstations, and personal computers.* Designs, develops, engineers, and implements solutions that meet security requirements.* Provides integration and implementation of the computer system security solution.* Analyzes general information assurance-related technical problems and provides basic engineering and technical support in solving these problems.* Performs vulnerability/risk analyses of computer systems and applications during all phases of the system development life cycle.* Ensures that all information systems are functional and secure.* Perform system security tuning, security monitoring, general and privileged user account management, and reviewing all COTS software products upgrades and patches, including operating systems. * Perform extensive technical support involving Cisco Ironport Devices.* Monitoring and performing script writing, storage management interfaces, network interfaces, external peripheral interfaces, and others systems interfacing.* Design and execute security system tests.* Shall support all systems/services C&A activities.Minimum Qualifications:* Seven (7) or more years of relevant experience working with Cisco Iron Port Devices on a networking team supporting large scale IT systems.* Experience in system security tuning, security monitoring, general and privileged user account management, and reviewing all COTS software products upgrades and patches, including operating systems.* Planning hardware and software system upgrades and changes in configuration.* Modifies, installs and prepares technical documentation for system software applications.* System-wide performance tuning to meet required levels of service.* Understanding and leverage common software architectural styles and patterns.Preferred Qualifications:* Bachelor’s degree (in Computer Science or related field) AND 10 or more years directly related experience.* Knowledge of Agile Scrum methodologies.* Knowledge of SAFe ​Clearance Requirements:* Applicants must have an active Top Secret clearance.Physical Requirements:* Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.* Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.* Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.* Often positions self to maintain computers in the lab, including under the desks and in the server closet.* Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
