Job Summary:

  • The Manufacturing Engineer Technician performs daily support tasks needed by production. This could include set-up, adjustments, and daily follow-up of Manufacturing Engineer project tasks.

  • They create, or find and evaluate, better and more efficient ways to manufacture our products, which involves techniques, processes, and procedures.

  • The Manufacturing Engineering Technician’s main goal, in all of the manufacturing phases, is the same: continuous improvement of product quality through leaner concepts and activities.

Where is the work:

This position has been designated as On-Site.

What you will do:

  • Aid in the development of manufacturing process concepts for Sheet Metal Fabrication.

  • Manage objectives and tasks as assigned.

  • Trouble shoot processing machines.

  • Compile and analyze statistical process control data.

  • Aid in the design and purchase process gauging.

  • Assist onsite contractor.

  • Support the development and maintenance of process documentation.

  • Support asset care and reliability programs.

  • Aid in the implementation of projects.

  • Investigate quality / manufacturing process concerns and aid in finding solutions.

  • Investigate improvements to existing equipment and hardware to improve quality and performance processes.

  • Comply with all safety policies and procedures.

  • Support MDI team and process of problem solving and continuous improvement.

What you will bring:

  • Associates Degree or equivalent work experience.

  • Knowledge of mechanical and electrical manufacturing processes, including assembly and testing.

Compensation:

Base Pay Range: $

Total compensation for this role will include a commission/incentive plan. Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
