HealthFitness has an exciting opportunity for a Physical Therapist in Clarksville, TN! Enjoy the beautiful mountains, affordable housing, endless outdoor activities and less than 1 hour from Nashville.

This PT position is responsible for coordinating and delivering Physical Therapy and early intervention services with a focus on preventing work-related injuries. It's an important role that involves evaluating and treating musculoskeletal conditions, leading pre shift conditioning classes, delivering proactive job ergonomic coaching, conducting ergonomic evaluations, and leading educational sessions for employees.

The Physical Therapist will primarily deliver in-person services and triage mild injuries, providing education and interventions within their scope of practice and client and following OSHA guidelines. They will collaborate with the client's existing resources and programs, including health services, human resources, safety, ergonomics, and well-being teams. One of their key responsibilities is to lead the team for daily delivery of injury prevention programs. They will assess the effectiveness of current interventions and enhance delivery methods to achieve maximum program results. Additionally, they will promote job safety and minimize risk for work injuries.

To qualify for this position, candidates must have a Bachelor's, Master's, or higher degree in Physical Therapy, along with current Physical Therapy licensure in Tennessee, CPR, First Aid, and AED certification. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in prevention and treatment of orthopedic injuries, ergonomic assessments, injury prevention education and training, and wellness programs. Proficiency in Functional Movement Analysis and implementation of corrective interventions is also required. Strong leadership, written and verbal communication skills are necessary, as well as the ability to deliver physical therapy treatment, prevention, and wellness services effectively. The candidate should also have strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills, as well as the ability to lead a team and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and departments. The candidate should be organized, able to prioritize work demands, and willing to travel regionally to other client locations as needed. They should also be able to work independently and/or as part of a team.
