**[Job Summary: [T[he Material Handler will transport explosives and solvents to production buildings and the warehouse for shipment and ensure all items transported are documented.

  1. Delivers explosives and energetic materials from bulk storage to production buildings.
  2. Delivers finished product from production to the bunkers or warehouse.
  3. Drives company vehicles and operates forklift as required.
  4. Fills solvent containers that are used in production.
  5. Communicates with Production Leads and Production employees to determine their explosive and energetic material needs.
  6. Responsible for some hazardous waste management functions. Performs physical waste disposal activities (e.g., moving containers, collecting samples, deactivating materials, etc.).
  7. Documents by recording information when moving materials throughout the facility.
  8. Performs other work related duties as assigned.

[REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:]{calibri",sans-serif"=""}

  1. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident of the United States (ITAR restrictions).
  2. Must be at least 18 years of age to work at this facility.
  3. Must be eligible to possess explosives under the Safe Explosives Act of 2003 (as amended) as required by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) for all employees of Tech Ord.
  4. High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  5. Must obtain and maintain a drivers license to operate company vehicles.
  6. Ability to become forklift certified upon hire.
  7. Ability to communicate and document effectively in English.
  8. Ability to read, understand and follow specific written and verbal instructions.
  9. Function Specific RCRA training upon hire.
  10. Ability to work effectively with other employees as part of a team.
  11. Ability to multi-task in support of end-result/goal.
