Reference #: 2914521 Description The Application Experience Specialist - Retail is responsible for management of the product life cycle for all assigned loan origination systems with full accountability for supporting critical business applications. This position emphasizes independent, creative thinking and leadership through collaboration. To succeed, the Application Experience Specialist for Retail should have a strong Retail banking background coupled with technical aptitude as they conduct research, work with primary business owners of critical business systems, and support stakeholders across business and technology departments to deliver end-to-end customer experience excellence.

APPLICATION MANAGEMENT AND STRATEGIC PLANNING Candidates should display the following strengths to ensure success as the Application Experience Specialist - Retail: Organization for sprint and release planning, product related meetings and any requested enhancements or changes to the Retail loan origination system. Ensure all retail loan systems meet the business requirements, system goals, and fulfill end user needs. Identify and resolve all system issues while working alongside vendor technical support as needed. Contribute and participate in pre-testing of product development initiatives by evaluating proposals to identify potential problem areas and make appropriate recommendations to the Executive Sponsor and business lead. Analyze documentation and technical specifications for any new products under consideration by all business lines utilizing the system. Review and analyze existing application functionality and develop strategies for improving these systems while working with the Executive Sponsor and business lead. COMMUNICATION AND COLLABORATION As the Application Experience Specialist - Retail loan origination systems, it's key for the candidate to possess strong communication and collaboration skills. It's preferred the candidate holds the below strengths while working with the Retail loan business line: The ability to communicate clearly to the Retail business line regarding product releases, sprints, and system issues. Maintain open communication between themselves and vendors to ensure system enhancements, new implementations and troubleshooting are completed to keep systems on track. Collaboration with the Retail business line, bank leadership and vendor technical support pertaining to product issues and upcoming enhancements. KNOWLEDGE AND CURIOSITY Display drive and curiosity to understand the business to its core and network with line of business subject matter experts to understand the capabilities that enterprise business systems and products solve. Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies around applicable business systems and applications. Be curious, a champion for innovative methods, and seek continued professional development and growth opportunities.

Requirements QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, & EXPERIENCE To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job requirement satisfactorily and meet the skills inventory listed below. EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE: College degree or advanced education in the field of computer science, product management of systems, or related field. 2+ years of banking experience, preferably with the Retail line of business. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret documents. Possesses professional communication and interpersonal skills to write and speak effectively both one-on-one and before groups. Ability to communica e to clients and to build relationships at all levels in the organization effectively. TECHNOLOGY SKILLS: Working knowledge in product management and knowledge of approaches, tools, and phases of product lifecycles required. Experience with software deployment and implementation methodologies or related technical change management experience highly beneficial. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to solve challenging problems involving several variables in a standardized situation. PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: The physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This position operates in a professional office environment with considerable time spent at a desk using office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers. Noise level is moderate with constant communication and interactions with others. Ability to travel on occasion to all market areas and attend seminars or training sessions offsite.
