Honeywell Material Handler - Level 3 (2nd shift) in Clearwater, Florida

As a Material Handler - Level 3 here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in the efficient movement and storage of materials within our organization. You will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials, as well as maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring timely delivery to production areas. Your attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols will be essential in maintaining a safe and organized Stockroom environment.

You will impact the efficiency and productivity of our operations by ensuring the availability of materials for production and minimizing downtime. You will also contribute to maintaining accurate inventory records and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to optimize warehouse/Stockroom processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • 2nd Shift 2:00pm-10:30pm Monday - Friday

    • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders or invoices

    • Store materials in designated locations and ensure proper organization and labeling

    • Retrieve materials from inventory and deliver them to production areas as requested

    • Maintain accurate inventory records using computerized systems

    • Perform cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure inventory accuracy

    • Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized stockroom environment

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any material-related issues or discrepancies

US Person Requirement

Due to compliance with US export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a US Citizen, US permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in the US

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 3+ years of experience in material handling or warehouse operations

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols

  • Proficiency in using computerized inventory management systems

  • Ability to operate material handling equipment, such pallet jacks

WE VALUE

  • Associate's degree in a related field

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
