Key Responsibilities

  • Develop system documents, including but not limited to, system-level requirements, Interface Control Document, Hardware Requirements Specification (HRS), Printed Board Assembly (PBA) Design Specification, Software Test Plan and Procedures for Software/System Requirement Verification, Hardware Verification Test Plan and Procedures for Airborne Complex Electronic Hardware Requirement Verification, and Certification documents.

  • Design and develop System Verification test cases/scripts and perform testing.

  • Develop and maintain automated Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) simulation test framework.

  • Develop and maintain automated Desk Top Simulation (DTS) test and Monte Carlo test framework.

  • Provide technical support for fielded systems (on request) as assigned.

  • Clearly and concisely convey subtle or complex messages via presentations and in writing to a variety of audiences including internal leadership and external customers.

  • Identify and execute cost, schedule, and technical efficiency improvements.

    U.S. CITIZENSHIP REQUIREMENT

    Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements.

    YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Aerospace Engineering.

  • Minimum 1 year of lab experience testing and debugging complex electronic circuits and software using Oscilloscopes, network analyzers, multimeters, or logic analyzers.

  • Minimum 1 year experience with IBM Rational Dynamic Object-Oriented Requirements System (DOORS).

  • Minimum 1 year of experience with software programing and scripting languages like Java, C, C++, Python, HTML, CSS, JavaScript.

  • Proficient in using MATLAB or other similar modeling tools.

  • Due to export controls and ITAR products, candidate must be a US citizen and have the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.

  • Individuals who quickly analyze, incorporate, and apply new information and concepts.

  • Willingness to learn about measuring project cost and schedule performance by using Earned Value Management or generating basis of estimates (BOE), and familiarity with TINA-compliant estimates.

  • Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done.

  • Ability to adapt to project changes.

  • Multi-tasking and the ability to manage a variety of complicated tasks.
